The rage over the election is not dying down. I don't really expect it to do so, since the theatrical departure has to be cranked up to full volume. So tired of the drama, but when they perform stunts that has effects on my life just for their "gotcha" moment, it is a different thing.
I am now officially behind in my NaNoWriMo timeline, so I need to get caught up very soon, and then stay on pace.
I have been a little distracted messing with the RaspberryPi. I have been trying to set it up as a portable cloud system. This would be great for dry dock, both for work and for personal writing. When it is home, it can be just plugged in and forgotten about. With some basic replication and images stored, it could be pretty handy. I want it to have some Literate Programming Notebooks on it, so I managed to get Zeppelin working, but there is no RStudio server for the ARM64 platform. SO, I am going with Jupyter and some kernels that will be somewhat useful. Have not sorted all that out yet. I am going with Nextcloud for the overall CMS requirements.
Aside from that, I have been watching the download from one of the last star databases I will likely attempt to get for now. I will probably move those files over to the Hadoop system and play with the data through the Spark engine. I am going to look at Hive too, and see if I can learn a few things along the way.
I am getting more and more interested at the possibilities of wide and narrow energy stellar objects. Just the cool radio bands with no upper wavelengths seems like an interesting outlier study. Gas clouds and such are not that interesting for me, but it will take a little investigating to have some ideas I think.
