Gina and John made it down just fine on the 24th, after an overnight in Valdosta, GA. We have spent the last couple of days mainly laying around and reading. Yesterday was the first day we got out and did some walking and driving around to let them recover.
I did the ham, collard cobbler, peas, and sweet potatoes for late lunch on Christmas. Everyone proceeded to nap the rest of the day.
Today we are going to try to visit Vizcaya, but that has turned into a bit of a chore due to COVID stuff, so we made reservations, and the cafe and gift shop are closed.
We are going to Key West tomorrow, so I am actually looking more forward to that.
I have been playing another new game, Planetbase, which I was watching Joel play on the console, but I ended up buying for the PC so I can play while he was in the middle of a game. Of course, I immediately started with the resource planning, experimenting with layout, and industry organizations.
