The last few weeks have been nice, and I have been playing with a lot of personal interests. I love this time, to be honest. I am not trying to work all these things into the wee hours of a busy day, and I have the luxury of being able to simply think things through before giving it a try and having to rework a bunch of stuff later on.
I got to work on my Skyrim modding much more than I had thought. I made some fun changes, like fixing the terrible English in Rudra, gave the Cheat Rook a Dwemer upgrade, and removed all the ST females.
For my own work, I managed to complete the buildings in Woody's Ranch, and built an entire new space for the Old Applewatch Camp. There are still a few things I need to finish to make them integrated into Skyrim, and more...entertaining, but the basics are there. I need to look at some other mods to figure out some animation triggers are done, and how to make a few more things interactive.
I have an interview today with the HCA PBX Team, which will hold me over until the cruise ships start going again. The current pace of our money is reassuring that I can continue to stay out of work, and we are still fine. I feel like we are actually saving a little. Weird.
I have also been writing a couple of fiction pieces, one from the Skyrim Woody's Ranch story, and one with Speight on that awkward weekend long ago. This is the narration of how it should have gone.
The additional games I got were quick burners, so I finished them relatively quickly and the reply value seems to be pretty low. One of them, Survival on Mars, is way too complicated, so i am taking that one slowly in order to ramp up a bit. The tutorials were impossible until I switched to a proper mouse.
I have also been writing my everyday eating habits, which is always enlightening, and needed right now since I have put on si much more weight than I was expecting. I can see that it is mostly from bad snacks and treats, so I am being more conscious to note when I do that and watch myself closely. I am also weighing at night, which is reportedly the worst time to do so. That is when I weight the most, so it is usually recommended to weigh in the morning after the long evening fast. But, by doing it at the worst time, it lets me know what the real condition is, and I am not fooling myself by only looking at the best cases and working from that artificially low number.
We have not been good lately about eating healthy, and I am on board with getting my kitchen re-attuned to healthy snacks and better breakfast and dinner options.
