Spent the week helping out by going onsite to a couple of hospitals, assisting with the general stuff while Corey does the Voice configs on the VGs and the Call Manager. I mainly had to stand all day. Now it is telling that of all the stupid and dumb stuff I did, that is my chief complaint. I basically helped unbox and rack the new devices, test everything using a breakout box by re-dialing a phone, and was the Panduit whisperer. Out of all that silly stuff for an "Engineer" to be doing, I nearly died just standing up. My entire body was miserable from that. I am uncertain how to take that information, but I know that I am no longer cut out for physical labor. That's for sure.

Other than the onsite work, the tasks are really simple for me on the OneVoice team. I just have to figure out some more of the admin stuff, and then I will have it down. The status meetings are going fine. the coordination is smooth, and the schedule is just a little hard to manage with contractors ignoring me, but that is always expected.

I tried to get my email working on the server, but to no avail. I found that I had left the SMTP port closed, which was a thing, but now I will try a few more things to get it working. My webclient won't connect without authentication, which is good to prevent relaying martian mail, and I have got to sort that out to get it working. Once I can send email out, I will concentrate on dealing with receiving email properly. Then, I will have it down.

I managed to get through the latest ballot for AEA, and I am going to just put a basic placeholder there for the future. I don't think we will be doing it again, but it will be good to have something ready on my own server just in case. While I am a little upset with how the files disappeared, I am a little more upset at my logfiles being deleted.

I got some flashcards from BestSelf, and I am pretty happy with them so far. With the One Thing Core Values deck, I pulled the ones for me and it was enlightening to see how the related terms clustered to reinforce my core values, which I actually know. Innovation, Wisdom, and Vision. It was really good to see the associated values to builds those, and lead the way to achieving those values. I have put them into an EverNote doc for further exploration, and will probably give them a full treatment in my Library once I build some more associations into those.

The Edison Deck creates prompts for idea generation, and is a great way to flesh out ideas when free-wheeling thoughts but pulling together random facets and associations. The Impact Deck is actually going to work as a journal prompt and big picture tactical source. I don't think it will be a practical as the others, but it is still a handy source of inspiration, action steps, and positive affirmations.
